She specializes in pediatric audiology and cochlear implants. Ms. Sweetnam has over 23 years of experience in educational and medical settings. She currently works as the educational audiologist for the Regional Day School Program for the Deaf in El Paso ISD, and she continues to collaborate with various implant surgeons to provide cochlear implant services in El Paso. Ms. Sweetnam also coordinates with the local Early Intervention programs & advocates for early identification of hearing loss and intervention options to improve communication development for children with hearing loss.
